Trail Blazing Women

This past Sunday night the Grammy's honored Tina Turner in memorial. This woman's music was so powerful, so beautiful, and so inspiring to so many—Lia watched the Oprah & Fantasia Barrino tribute and just felt overwhelmed. 

Lia is so proud to be a woman. And lately, she's felt surrounded by so many women leaders who's passion is making the kind of impact she's dreamed of seeing. And she just can't keep it to herself! So we hope you'll forgive this little departure. It's not about shopping, but it is about what's fashionable. And right now, it is fashionable to be a woman.

There's so much we could say about Tina. Our shop is just a mile from the painting of her in The Grove, and we love that she shared St. Louis with us. Last week, Lia's new baby nephew had his first music-time with his Aunt Lia and they sang Proud Mary with her brother while her sister-in-law and baby Jack rolled along.

Being a trailblazer is fashionable, and while Tina Turner may be one of Lia's inspirations she's not the only one. I hope to share more in the future about women & news that is inspiring.
